Tragic Motorcycle Accident Claims Life of 41-Year-Old Rider on East Bank Demerara
In a devastating incident on Friday morning, 41-year-old Mark Marks, a resident of Charlotte Street, Georgetown, lost his life in a motorcycle accident on the East Bank Demerara Public Road.

The tragic incident unfolded around 07:30 am at Pearl, EBD, as Marks was riding his motorcycle, bearing registration #CM 6193, south along the eastern side of the public road. Regrettably, he lost control of the bike, leading to a fall onto the road surface and a subsequent skid over a considerable distance.
The impact resulted in Marks sustaining severe injuries to his head and other parts of his body. Public-spirited individuals promptly assisted by transporting the injured motorcyclist to the Diamond Diagnostic Center. Despite efforts, Marks was pronounced dead on arrival by the attending doctor.
