  • Deviane Narine, 18 years old, from Kitty, Georgetown.
  • Daniel Tribani, 19 years old, a resident of La Grange, West Bank Demerara.

The incident involved a motorcar with license plate PAE 5773, registered to Marvis Bankay Singh and driven by the 17-year-old Daveanand Singh, accompanied by his passengers. The car collided with a parked motor lorry with license plate GTT 6960, owned by Eric Tucker, a 27-year-old from 24-25 Resource, Canal #2 Polder.

According to initial findings, the motorcar was traveling eastward along the northern side of the access road at a high speed. The impact of the collision further led the motorcar to crash into a concrete fence situated north of the public road.

The consequences of the collision were dire. Two of the occupants lost their lives at the scene, while the driver and another passenger were rushed in an unconscious state to the West Demerara Regional Hospital. Unfortunately, despite medical efforts, they succumbed to their injuries and passed away.
