A visit to Mackenzie Station District: In a proactive effort to foster strong community relations and address key concerns, Superintendent Guy Nurse, Commander of Division #10, and his team embarked on a ‘stakeholder visit’ to the Mackenzie Station District on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, between 09:00 hrs and 11:00 hrs.

During this visit, Commander Nurse met with various stakeholders, including:
Regional Chairman of Region 10, Derron Adams
Regional Vice Chairman, Mark Goring
Representatives from Nalico/Nafico Insurance Company
Nigel Hughes Office (Linden Branch)
The discussions held during the visit focused on community issues, concerns, and collaborative efforts to ensure peace and security in the region.
The Regional officials extended a warm welcome to Commander Nurse and expressed their commitment to maintaining a strong working relationship with the police to uphold peace in the division. The Chairman and Vice Chairman commended the Commander and his team for their proactive community participation and engagement.
Commander Nurse reassured the Regional Chairman that the police force is diligently working to combat crime and treat members of the public with respect and impartiality. He also shared the division’s crime and traffic posture for the upcoming Christmas season, which received commendation.
Ms. Tiffany Stoll from Nigel Hughes Office and the Nalico/Nafico Insurance Company representative welcomed Commander Nurse’s visit and raised several issues and concerns, all of which were addressed by Commander Nurse and his team.
This stakeholder visit exemplifies the commitment of law enforcement to open dialogue with community leaders and local businesses to collectively address concerns and ensure a safer and more harmonious environment.
