Born prematurely at 29 weeks and 4 days at Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation, Baby Genesis Azore, weighing 2 pounds 3 ounces, embarked on a challenging NICU journey. The prenatal struggles of her parents, Shunza and Anton Azore, were amplified due to a previous miscarriage. Genesis’s early arrival on July 19th led to 15 days in intensive care and 14 days in the step-down unit.
