Five Families Receive Keys to New Homes in Region Three

In a significant step towards enhancing living conditions, Minister of Housing and Water, Hon. Collin Croal, handed over keys to new core homes to five low-income families from Onderneeming and Lust-en-Rust in Region Three.
Facilitated under the Adequate Housing and Urban Accessibility Programme (AHUAP), the Core Home initiative aims to uplift the living standards of vulnerable families.
The recipients of the keys and Certificates of Inspection are Mr. Enduko Glenmore (Lot 2194, Onderneeming), Ms. Nicola Thompson (Lot 2059, Onderneeming), Condica Eastman (Lot 2041, Onderneeming), Ms. Tricia DaSivia (Lot 4026, Lust-en-Rust), and Mr. Desmond Cheong (Lot 172, Onderneeming).
Each Core Home, featuring two bedrooms, a kitchen, and washroom facilities, undergoes construction supervision by engineers from CH&PA’s Projects Department and Community Development Department staff to ensure compliance with specifications outlined by the IDB.
