Fatal Stabbing Tragedy Unfolds in Corentyne Following Bar Argument

In a devastating incident on Sunday night, a 29-year-old construction worker, Ramanand Mingo, tragically lost his life after being fatally stabbed during an argument at Amus Sports Bar in Corentyne Berbice.
According to Ramanand’s younger brother, Dianand Mingo, the two had gone to the sports bar around 22:00 hours. While Ramanand was at the counter making a purchase, a dispute erupted between him and another individual. Dianand, who was on a bicycle waiting for his brother, witnessed the altercation unfold.
Describing the horrifying moment, Dianand stated, “I walked over to bring him [Ramanand] outside, and the guy shoved a knife into his stomach.” Following the stabbing, Ramanand collapsed, and despite being rushed to the Port Mourant Public Hospital, he was pronounced dead upon arrival.
The family, devastated by the tragic loss, is now calling for justice as investigations into the incident are ongoing. The heartbreaking incident serves as a stark reminder of the need for peaceful resolutions and the devastating consequences that can arise from altercations.
