In a heart-wrenching incident, 25-year-old Tina Khan of Mibicuri South, Black Bush Polder, Corentyne, Berbice, lost her life in an accident on Saturday along the Mibicuri Public Road.

Tragic Accident

Reports indicate that Tina and her husband, Ravin Khan, were on their way home from a Bar-B-Q on Saturday night. The now-deceased woman was riding her motorcycle at the front, heading towards her home, while her husband followed on his motorcycle. Tragically, a third motorcyclist traveling along the same route collided with Tina’s motorcycle.

The impact of the collision propelled Tina into the air before she landed under a parked trailer on the road. Her husband promptly picked her up and rushed her to the Mibicuri Hospital, but unfortunately, she succumbed to the injuries sustained in the accident.

The motorcyclist responsible for the collision reportedly fled the scene. Friends of the deceased woman expressed shock at her passing, describing Tina as a kind and joyful individual.
