In an educational initiative aimed at fostering road safety awareness, Police Corporal Dawson and Constable Sobers from Regional Division 4(B) visited the Mocha Arcadia Primary School on the East Bank of Demerara earlier today (Thursday).

During the visit, the police ranks delivered a comprehensive road safety lecture to the students, covering critical topics such as the proper use of pedestrian crossings, the curb drill, suitable clothing for cyclists and pedestrians at night, the value of education, and the inherent dangers of playing on roadways.
The lecture was attended by approximately two hundred and forty (240) students and fourteen (14) teachers. The ranks received applause and appreciation from both students and educators for their timely and informative gesture in educating young minds about road safety.
This effort by the police demonstrates their dedication to fostering a culture of safety and awareness among the youth, promoting responsible behavior on the roads.
