A team led by Superintendent Krishna Ramana, Commander of Regional Division 4C, alongside Inspector Roop, the Divisional Traffic Officer, and other officers, carried out an outreach initiative in Mahaica on the previous Sunday. During this effort, they engaged with various groups in the community.
At the Mahaica seawall, the team met with local fishermen to address concerns related to their safety and overall well-being. Discussions centered around measures for their protection and security.

Simultaneously, the team convened with hire car and minibus drivers at the Mahaica Bus Park. In this session, drivers were reminded of the paramount importance of road safety and the strict adherence to traffic regulations. The officers underscored the significance of defensive driving and emphasized the adherence to the five ‘C’s when behind the wheel: Care, Caution, Consideration, Common Sense, and Courtesy.
Furthermore, during the outreach, the team extended their condolences to the family of the motorcyclist who tragically lost their life in the Unity fatal accident. They also took the opportunity to meet with the relatives of the motor car driver involved in the same incident, aiming to foster understanding and communication in the aftermath of the accident.
