Team Mohamed’s Toy Drive to Bring Joy to Over 20,000 Nursery School Children Across Guyana”

In a heartwarming initiative, Team Mohamed’s has launched its most extensive toy drive to date, aiming to bring joy to over 20,000 nursery school children across Guyana. This generous endeavor encompasses every public nursery school in all administrative regions, spanning from Crabwood Creek in Berbice to Karasabai in the Deep South Rupununi.

The brainchild of businessman Mr. A. Mohamed, the toy drive reflects a desire to give back to the community and bring smiles to the faces of children during the festive season. As the Christmas term draws to a close, various teams will be dispatched nationwide to distribute toys in regions that include some of the most remote areas in Regions 1, 7, 8, and 9.

The slated regions and the number of schools and children expected to benefit are as follows:

Region 1: 52 Schools – 2104 Children
Region 2: 55 Schools – 1899 Children
Region 3: 64 Schools – 3661 Children
Region 5: 36 Schools – 1660 Children
Region 6: 69 Schools – 3582 Children
Region 7: 34 Schools – 1354 Children
Region 8: 25 Schools – 757 Children
Region 9: 58 Schools – 1829 Children
Region 10: 40 Schools – 1834 Children
For Region Four, selected schools will be facilitated as part of this festive initiative.
