In a tragic incident, police are currently investigating the alleged murder of William Hendricks, whose age and address are currently unknown. The incident occurred at approximately 17:00 hrs this afternoon in Eruma Backdam, Two Point Landing, Cuyuni River, within Region 7.

The report was made around 17:45 hrs when Dave Hamilton, a 37-year-old Security Guard employed with Hopkinson Security Company, contacted the Bartica Police Station via cellular phone. Hamilton reported that, around 17:15 hrs, while on duty at Kevin’s Camp in Eruma Backdam, he received information about William Hendricks. Hendricks, who was wanted by the police for questioning related to robbery under arms, firearm possession, and narcotic possession, was found lying motionless on the trail with apparent stab wounds.
Upon receiving the information, Hamilton proceeded to the scene, where he observed the lifeless body and took several photographs. Detectives have been dispatched to Eruma Backdam to conduct a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding the alleged murder.
It is worth noting that in early October, a Police Wanted Bulletin had been issued for William Hendricks regarding the aforementioned criminal offenses. The ongoing investigation seeks to establish the details of the incident and determine any potential links to the outstanding legal matters involving Hendricks.
